Treasury Administrator
My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition, and are in The Times Top 100 Companies to work for. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Administrator based in their Haywards Heath office. The role requires the day to day processing of group receipts, payments, relevant reconciliations and working with other members of the Treasury team to ensure the smooth running of the bank accounts and month end processes.
Ideal candidates will have previous administration experince and a good level of Excel.
Responsibilities:
– Work within the parameters of the agreed business plan for Group Finance.
– Build and maintain relationships with both external and internal contacts.
– Committed to promoting a supportive working environment within the department.
– Processing of cash for claims and brokers on a daily basis, to include cheques, BACS/foreign payments, cheque requests and cancellations.
– Printing and sending out of daily claims cheques.
– Assisting the claims department with any related queries.
– Accurate posting of receipt and payment reports within Sage.
– Dealing with the bank on any related queries.
– Daily banking of cheques.
– Ensure paperwork is filed accurately and in a timely manner.
– Maintaining premium bank account cash forms and banking analysis to aid Treasury Team Leader`s bank reconciliation.
– Monitoring of overnight investments for the UK accounts.
– Assist with any ad hoc projects needed to resolve issues and enhance the day to day running of the department.
– Any other reasonable duties as required.
– Ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with our V10 Values and Customer Service Charter.
– Adhere to FCA, FSC, TCF and Data Protection Regulations.
– Provide support to the Treasury Team Leader by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPI`s and SLA`s.
Key skills and knowledge:
– Proven accurate data entry
– Basic Excel
– Highly numerate
– Good systems knowledge an advantage
– Previous knowledge an advantage of any of the following systems; I90, ICE, Landscape, Sage.
– Previous Finance knowledge not necessary
