Job Description: We are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants to work with EMI clients throughout Medway. You will be supporting clients in a nursing home environment alongside other Care Assistants aiming to ensure that client’s psychological and physical needs are met on a daily basis whilst promoting as much independence as possible. You will need to have had experience supporting this client group. Hours will be varied between Monday to Sunday ranging from 7:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00, 21:00-07:30am and 7:30 – 22:00. Shifts are available on a temporary ad-hoc basis.
Job Requirements: You will be assisting the clients with personal care; washing and toileting needs, getting up in the morning, getting to bed at night and at meal times. We will require you to support clients with their mobility needs, change beds and keep rooms and communal areas clean and tidy. You will have a good understanding of Safeguarding policies & procedures.
Training/Qualifications: Ideally you will have up to date Manual handling training, however this is something that we can provide. 6 months experience is required within the last 3 years.
