The company:

An opportunity exists for an experienced Estimator to join a well known national Civil Engineering contractor. The company undertakes Highways, Groundwork and environmental works across the area, from small bespoke schemes to multimillion pound projects. Much of their work is repeat business, secured from offering a ‘right first time’ and solution focused service to a wide range of clients.

The role:

The successful candidate will play an integral role within the company which will involve meeting with the clients, visiting sites and competitively pricing work, ensuring the best interests of the company at all times. As an Estimator part of your role in the estimating process will be to assess tender documentation and requirements and report findings to the team.

To be successful in your application as an Estimator you will be a great communicator, process good negotiation skills and be commercially and contractually aware. It is essential that you have previous experience as an Estimator on civil engineering projects. Experience in using programmes such as Conquest and MS project are a necessity
