The company
Leading rapidly expanding £multimillion Omnichannel FMCG with highly regarded international brands and extensive retail distribution in the UK and internationally, including major supermarkets, high street chains and specialist retailers, a digital platform, third party online sites and b2b and b2c ecommerce.
The Role
Reporting into the Group Supply Chain Director, to manage and focus on all UK and international logistics and ecommerce operations and help facilitate the company’s growth ambition. This will include developing logistics strategy to support ecommerce growth and manage move to a new facility to accommodate and incorporate 3 DCs.
Key responsibilities
* Deputise for the Group Supply Chain Director
* Selection and management of logistics partners
* Develop and deliver a group-wide logistics strategy, procurement and purchasing and demand planning and inventory management
* Budgeting and Gross margins
* 3-year capacity planning
* Liaise with third party online platforms.
* Manage B2C and B2B activity
* 3PL Management
* Management of the logistics, purchasing, demand planning and forecasting teams.
* Budget and manage all logistics costs
The candidate
* Experienced leader in logistics within the FMCG industry (ideally food and beverages)
* International multi-site logistics experience as well as UK.
* Experience of e-commerce fulfilment and third party online fulfilment.
* Commercially and financially astute.
* Proven track record in recruitment, retention and development of high performing teams.
* Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Solid knowledge of MS business applications (SAP, Excel, Word, Power Point)
