Generator Repair Engineer

WB Power Services are currently recruiting Generator Repair Engineers, to work in our Heanor depot. This is a superb opportunity for Generator Repair Engineers to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for driven and motivated Generator Repair engineers to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role
•    Repair and maintenance of generators based out of Heanor, Derbyshire.
•    Stripping down and rebuilding diesel engines and generator componence.
•    Fault diagnosis and rectification of the system.
•    Troubleshooting.
•    Adherence to the company H&S, environmental and quality management systems.
•    Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.
•    Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.

The Person
•    Experience with generators or diesel engines is hugely advantageous but not essential.
•    Any experience in a workshop engineering position is attractive.
•    Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators).
•    Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
•    The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•    Working to deadlines.
