Service Engineer

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of all waste compaction equipment. Recruit 2 You are delighted to be assisting with the recruitment process for this exciting opportunity for an experienced Service and Maintenance Engineer to join their rapidly expanding engineering team.

You as the new Service Engineer will:

* Attend customer sites for break downs, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of waste recycling machinery such as compactors and balers.

* Attend customer sites to complete installations of new equipment

* This is a home-based role, covering Leeds and surrounding areas.

* You must be flexible with hours including staying away from home occasionally if required.

* Flexible with regards to travel for large installs.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience for Service Engineer:

* Time Served Engineer with mobile experience.

* Single or 3 phase Electrical qualifications or experience essential

* Multi skilled to include Electrical (3phase) Hydraulic and Mechanical

* Hydraulic Fault Finding and ability to read electric and hydraulic diagrams

* Able to understand install documentation drawings

* Worked in heavy / Industrial environment, direct experience within the waste/ recycling an advantage.

* Experience working in a client facing role.

* Full UK driving license
