The Role
• Planned and reactive service and maintenance of generators.
• Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs.
• Liaising with Service coordinators at head office for planning purposes.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification of the system.
• Troubleshooting.
• Participate in the regional on-call rota. (1 in 5 on average).
• Adherence to the company H&S, environmental and quality management systems.
• Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.
• Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.
The Person
• Experience Servicing generators is hugely advantageous but not essential.
• Any experience in a mobile engineering position is attractive.
• Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators).
• Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
• The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
