Finance Manager

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

This well-established growing organisation are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role due to company growth and you will be joining an expanding company that offers a great flexible working culture. Furthermore, this role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme and will be a great role for a dynamic Finance Manager that is looking for their next challenge.

Finance Manager – About The Role

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Finance Director. You will be responsible for managing the daily running of the finance function and ensuring processes are in place to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for FD review.
• Managing monthly and weekly cash flow, based on actuals and forecast cash requirements.
• Assisting with Fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, payroll and other journals & reconciliations.
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax files.
• Maintaining strong systems and controls to ensure adequate documentation, audit trails and policies are adhered to.
• Managing cashflow targets and credit control measures.
• Ad hoc reporting and support when necessary.

The successful Finance Manager will have

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Qualified, part qualified or QBE candidates will be considered.
• Working knowledge of Xero is desirable.
• Previous experience in project-based environments would be advantageous.
