Teacher or Instructor of Physical Education

Salary: £156 – £216 per day

Strategy Education are working with a school who, due to changes in the timetable require an additional member of staff for their PE department. The ideal candidate can be qualified or non-qualified but requires experience of working with young people in sport either in a teaching or a community work capacity.

The Academy are looking for applications from dedicated, enthusiastic, able and inspiring teachers or graduates who are looking to commit to a full time role working within the PE department of a secondary school. The Academy has access to excellent facilities including a floodlit synthetic pitch, gymnasium, grass pitches as well as indoor and outdoor courts to cater for a range of sporting activities. The ability to teach gymnastics and or dance are optional.

The successful candidate will either hold a Bachelor’s degree and will be coming towards the end of their teacher training. The Trust provides an extensive, proven NQT induction programme and there are opportunities for aggressive career progression within the trust. The appointment will be on a permanent basis and you will be paid in line with Teachers Pay and conditions; scale point may be negotiable.

The successful candidate will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
