Homebased, remote learner support role from anywhere in the UK

Working with and remote video conferencing with up to 40-50 learners. To be considered for the role of Learner Mentor, our client is looking for you to have some IT Apprenticeships delivery experience and have assessing experience where you have previously managed a caseload and driving achievers.

You will have hands on experience on cyber concepts, security case development and design good practice, security technology building blocks, cyptography. Our client will give the learners training and fundamental skills at speed, it will be your role to make sure they stay on track to achieve their qualification and hand hold them and the employer on the journey.

Its your role as the learners’ mentor to help them through their qualification and to guide them through to distinction

It will be your job to create, strengthen and own relationships with Employers and Apprentices. Manage the progression of a caseload of 40-50 Apprentices. Take overall responsibility for each Apprentice’s journey, providing pastoral care, ensure apprentices are efficiently signposted to the resources they need for success. Provide 1st level functional skills support and co-ordinate 2nd/3rd level help. Organise infill training to support the courses attended by each Apprentice. Ensure that each Apprentice has a record that is accurate and funding compliant. Meet KPIs, including; success and timely success measures. We are looking for qualified and experienced Assessors to apply with occupational competency within the cyber security field.

Guiding and mentoring Cyber Intrusion analyst, Cyber Security Technologist and Cyber Risk Analyst apprentices through to EPA/Gateway.
