Class 2 HGV Refuge Driver

My client in Leyland, Preston is looking to recruit a number of Class 2 HGV Drivers for Ongoing positions as Refuse Drivers.

The duties will involve collecting and transporting waste around the Preston area in a small team in a Class 2 HGV Vehicle. You will be responsible for the driving aspect and occasional manual work as and when needed. The working hours are roughly 07:00-16:30 Monday to Friday and the work will be ongoing. Permanent positions will be offered to those who demonstrate themselves to be confident, reliable and hard working employees.

The Salary: is £26,000per year PAYE and overtime is paid at time and a half after 8 hours each day. Candidates are required to have a Full UK Driving Licence with Class 2 (CAT C) Entitlement, Full CPC and Digi-Tacho. You also must have no more than 6 points. IN and DR codes will not be accepted. Previous experience in a similar refuse collection role would be desirable but we are mainly looking for good quality drivers.
