Year 3 Class Teacher Required

Experienced Class Teacher with leadership qualities, responsible for raising standards in Year 3 in a school in Slough, Berkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding, forward thinking multi-cultural primary School. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic professional, who has high expectations of both themselves and their learners and are able to help move our school from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’.

We are looking for an individual who:
• is an outstanding practitioner with high expectations of pupils, both with regard to achievement and behaviour
• has good team skills and is self-motivated
• is both approachable and caring of pupils
• is dedicated to meeting learners’ needs, regardless of their abilities or background
• has extensive KS1 experience
• has had responsibility for leading a curriculum area

As well as having the expected skills and experience in successfully leading and managing a subject area and team, the appointed candidate will provide excellent leadership through role modelling, reflective practice and coaching of others to continually improve their performance. In addition she/he should have a proven track record of consistently good/outstanding lessons.
