2x CNC Machinists (Router/Laser) – 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm
2x Assemblers – Day shift

I am recruiting for the largest manufacturer of signs to the trade industry. They’re looking to take on 4 members of staff in two departments, it’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s looking to get their foot through the door and want to be trained up to become a skilled tradesman.
These positions require someone who wants to get their hands dirty and learn how to become a skilled manufacturer. It is a brilliant opportunity within a well-established company that give people the opportunity to learn, progress and develop.
Day-to-day duties:
Machinist:
Get day plan from team leader
Upload program onto machine
Choose the correct tooling
Load machine with specified material
Set the offsets
Monitor the cutting of material
Resolve any production issues
Work successfully in a team
Assembly:
Get day plan from team leader
Retrieve the kit components, drawing and assembly plan
Put the product together in accordance to assembly plan
Make sure the end product matches the drawing
The assembly consists of various different skills and takes up to 12 months to get fully trained on all aspects of assembly.
Skills and qualifications needed:
Strong eye for detail
Ability to use hand tools
Involves heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
Strong work ethic
Proven experience working with hand tools and air tools
