Transport and Logistics Manager – Midlands – FMCG

Another amazing opportunity from the team here at Ripe4! We are working in partnership with a leading European FMCG organisation in their search to find a Transport and Logistics Manager to operate out of one their main distribution centres in the UK.

This role will see you coordinating their logistics operations and attaining targets in line with the business. You will also oversee the running and maintenance of their fleet and make sure all the appropriate legislations and paperwork is up to date. This ‘hand-on’ role will see you oversee a team and be responsible for motivating and overseeing aspects of their work. This is a vital role within the company and has true chance for career progression!

In order to apply for this role you must possesses previous experience within a fast paced organisation and have experience operating at Transport Manager level. You must also be familiar with organising maintenance scheduling and overseeing any problems of this nature, however, hands on engineering experience is not a pre-requisite. You must have excellent project management experience, coupled with budgetary responsibility.
