Supervising Social Worker – 12 Month Maternity

Supervising Social Worker required for a 12 month maternity contract with a nationwide fostering agency based in the Fareham area, working around the Southampton office.

The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of fostering legislation and relevant practice issues and be able to deliver to the high standards of the service which are currently in place.

You will be involved in recruiting, training and supporting foster carers and promoting the welfare of children placed with the fostering families,

You must have a relevant professional qualification in social work as well as substantial experience of foster care practice. Including conducting Form F assessments.

You will be a strong team player and must be flexible towards the needs of the organisation, displaying excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
