Our client, a growing property company in Leeds are recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Executive to work in their Leeds offices. The company currently works with large conveyancing firms and are now looking to expand their business. Due to this they are looking for somebody to join the team and support the commercial manager with building the SME market.

This role is heavily internal sales based, spending time on the phones booking appointments for the Commercial Director. You will also be developing the social media presence and be involved in marketing and helping support and attend events.

Your duties will include:

* Identifying opportunities, producing leads and booking appointments for the Commercial Manager with emphasis being on high quality leads

* You will be accountable to the Commercial Manager on a day to day basis for the provision of key sales and marketing support

* Developing pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors

* You will proactively follow up leads generated from the canvassing done by the Management team

* Negotiating commercial terms within set guidelines

* You will use your initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database

* Maintaining, updating and building in-house databases and customer records

* You will attend monthly meetings with Management to update information and discuss and issues

* You will provide telemarketing support to all departments

* You will co-ordinate and provide hands on support of departmental e-mailshots

* Generating marketing support material for presentations, events, exhibitions and meetings

The successful candidate will ideally be a graduate and you will have previous experience within sales. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build long lasting professional relationships. You must also possess the following skills and experience:

* Strong Microsoft Office skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Previous sales experience is essential

* Educated to degree level

* Experience in the legal industry is desirable

* Experience in conveyance is also desirable
