What does it take to be a great Apprentice Sales Associate? Our teams are made up of people with a real passion for quality customer service and for creating amazing customer experiences; people who work hard to develop outstanding product knowledge and real jewellery expertise that they can share with our customers.
As an Apprentice Sales Associate you’ll become a committed and dedicated member of the team, you’ll play a key role in helping the store to maintain performance and meet sales targets. As new products are introduced in store, you will build your knowledge and develop your skills in customer service to ensure that you can deal with every type of customer enquiry.

Your background
If you would like to be a part of our amazing team, you’ll have a passion for delivering amazing customer service. While you may not specifically have jewellery experience, you will certainly have an interest in jewellery products and brands. A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude is essential, with a natural ability for striking up a conversation with a diverse range of customers.
Your training
As an Apprentice Sales Associate you will undergo ‘Introductory and Silver’ levels of our formal ‘Signet Jewellery Academy’ training and development programme. You will also complete an Intermediate Retail Skills Apprenticeship with Technical Certificate and Key Skills. An experienced mentor will be on hand to support you for the duration of your Apprenticeship.
Your rewards
We offer a training Salary: £26,000 per year (increasing to £26,000 per year from October 1st 2015), plus benefits, including a sales related commission scheme and staff discount. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
