Behaviour Support Worker

Protocol Education are urgently seeking a behaviour support worker to work alongside a strong existing team in Leicester City SEND school.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Behaviour can be particularly challenging so the right candidate must be able to relate well to students, while also providing a strong classroom presence. We are ideally seeking someone with a strong background in the education sector, however due to the nature of the environment, sports coaches and youth support workers would also make an excellent fit for the role.

This is a long-term role that will run through until the end of the current academic be successful for this role you must have:

• A calm and approachable nature.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Sound behaviour management.
• The ability to keep students focussed on and on-task, whilst also providing a welcome environment to your students
