In-House Graphic Designer

In-House Graphic Designer – Borehamwood – Up to £35,000
Graphic Designer required for a Market leader based in Borehamwood.
Working as a Graphic Designer you will join a dedicated and friendly team supporting the Sales and Marketing teams
You should be very creative with exceptional attention to detail, and be comfortable picking up a brief from visual concept stages and taking it through to print or digital production.
Ideal candidates will have in-depth skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You should also have knowledge of printing processes and be fully comfortable with designing for both print and digital media, and provide high quality artworks. Also essential are to have excellent time management, communications and organisational skills.
In-House Graphic Designer – The Role
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or significant related work experience;
• A high-quality portfolio;
• Extremely fluent in all relevant Adobe design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat);
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• A good understanding of web standards and accessibility would be advantageous, as would experience in HTML, Flash, AfterEffects and Premier;
• Any previous experience working within a communications / digital agency would be highly desirable.
• Provide final artwork for a wide range of print and web communications
• Create templates based on concept work
• Have creative input into proofs and concepts
• Check all work for accuracy and quality
• Ensure all output meets brand/identity guidelines and is within budget
