Job – TSCO – Traffic Safety Control Officers

First People Solutions are working in collaboration with a UK based contractor to deliver a major trunk road project in central Scotland.

Our client, have an immediate requirement for several TSCO – Traffic Safety Control Officers. These positions shall be site based running on a contract basis for a period of 24 months. For the right candidate these positions can be permanent.

The Job

The TSCO shall be responsible for all traffic safety and control during the construction of the new infrastructure and shall liaise with all the relevant authorities as required, this includes Scottish ministers and Police Scotland.

Responsibilities

The TSCO shall be responsible for:

All traffic management measures associated with the new works
Ensuring that all equipment is in place and in full working order.
Enforcement of all relevant health and safety derivatives, with regard to both operations and live traffic.
Enforcement of site access requirements
Ensuring that the new works site is patrolled and monitored at all times, while ensuring that all temporary works are in full working order.The Candidate
