Salary: £39,600 – £42,000 per year

The group that we are working with are amongst other things, a well-connected training, consultancy and digital transformation services provider who are at the forefront of modern digital training for companies across the North West and beyond.
Their mission is to support businesses to be early adopters of digital technologies to help them build a workforce that will support innovation and create exciting new job opportunities that keeps talent in the region.
Beyond this, they also have interlinking divisions and the new Divisional Sales Manager position will play a critical role in enabling the company to deliver;
Innovation programs – data driven digital solutions – training – skills and talent delivery – consultancy
to organisations across the North West initially, with scope to build forwards and outwards across the North and beyond.
This is very much an outcomes based role where you would be developing new business as well as working with established clients to ensure that the entirety of the group portfolio is positioned effectively for the benefit of all.
As Divisional Sales Manager, you would be empowered to make decisions and effectively manage and build opportunities.
This gives the right person the freedom to really put their own stamp on the role and make use of all the interlinking business opportunities that may we present themselves when asking the right questions, in the right circles, at the right time.
Your ability to build natural rapport at director/business owner level is essential as maturing strong and lasting relationships is business critical.
Our client wants the best possible solutions for the businesses that utilise their programs and facilities and it would be a large part of your job to support best outcomes for all involved.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
* Develop a strong client base across Greater Manchester and Lancashire initially
* Direct responsibility for sales planning, short, medium and long term
* The Account Management and development of customer success plans
* Manage key accounts to develop and grow profitable revenue
* Meet and exceeds sales, profit, and client development performance targets
* Develop an effective and results orientated working relationship with internal stakeholders
* Work closely with the Marketing and Comms team to execute business development strategy
* Look at overall service offerings across the group to create profitable vertical opportunities
* Deliver gold standard customer support and customer outcomes
We are looking for:
* Demonstrable business to business solution sales background
* A keen interest in future technologies and/or the tech space would be useful
* The ability to connect innovative solutions to customer needs and articulate the value in complex and often bespoke solutions
* Excellent commercial acumen, communication and negotiation skills
* Track record of establishing and building key account relationships
* Capability to manage, influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling performance
* Motivated to deliver, with passion and drive and an innovative approach
* The ability to find ways of solving/pre-empting problems
* Energy and an appetite to do the best and be the best so that customers champion the benefits as much as you do
In return for your efforts, you can expect:
* Circa £39,600 – £42,000 salary
* 10% Bonus
