Sales Executive

Initially based in Hook, relocating to Farnborough in May 2016

Whilst labelled a “sales” executive, there will be no cold calling in this role. This will be much more focused on administration and customer care. There will be very high volume of calls and email traffic, so you will need to be able to work at a fast pace, and have an excellent eye for detail.

Description:
Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, the role holder will manage their customers portfolio, responsible for maximising sales opportunities including ancillary products and generating orders through service, pro-actively identifying renewals and converting to orders with the view to increase profit. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal / external customers and suppliers whilst leveraging to ensure optimisation of sales and service

Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience and knowledge working within a sales and customer service environment will be beneficial
Previous experience in the Automotive or Financial Services industry is desirable
Ability to communicate at all levels both internal and external.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
High attention to detail and accuracy
Self- motivated, organised and confident in taking the lead where required
Sales through service attitude with proficient telephony skills
Able to self- manage and identify escalation points
Ability to accurately handle and understand numerical data for quote to order process and reporting purposes
Desire to expand commercial awareness Computer literate with sound knowledge of all Microsoft Packages

Hours: 3 part shift rotation in effect. Shifts are:
08:00 – 16:15
08:30 – 15:45
09:45 – 18:00

10 month contract
