Due to continued expansion and success, my client is in need of experienced Chartered Senior Bridge Design Engineers to join projects for major clients such as Network Rail and ASDA.

The appropriate Chartered Senior Bridge Design Engineer will have experience undertaking and overseeing design of a wide variety of structures on highways and rail networks. They must also have the ability to use novel and innovative techniques such as modular construction or installation of large structures. Experience working closely with other contractors in a design and build environment whilst organizing resources to ensure delivery on time and within budget is also required.

As a Senior Bridge Design Engineer within this company you will mentor and coach fresh graduate engineers on the processes of bridge design. This position is mainly office based with some national site travel as required.

Requirements:
BEng/BSc Civil / Structural Engineering (Masters highly regarded)
Chartered status
Experience with bridge design using BS5400, Eurocodes and NR Assessment Codes
Experience on design projects valued at £1m – £10m on structures for the rail sector
4 – 5 years experience within a Design Engineering role
AutoCAD experience

21 days per annum annual holiday, plus statutory days. The holiday year runs from January to December. The Practice normally closes for business between Christmas and the New Year at the Directors discretion. The normal working days during this period will be in addition to the 21 days annual holiday.
The Company operates a medical benefits scheme, also covering your family, which you will be eligible to join after a 6 month probationary period. Details will be available on joining.
The Company operates a personal pension scheme, at a level of 5% of salary, which you will be eligible to join after a 6 months probationary period. Details will be available on joining.
The Company also operates an annual profit related bonus scheme, which is dependant upon Company results and individual performance.
A company car which will be maintained by the Company. The cost of fuel for private mileage will not be paid for by the Practice.

Specifics:
Salary – £48,000 – £60,000
37.5 Hour working week – 9 – 5.30, Monday – Friday
