Nursery Room Leader

Salary: £28,200 – £30,000 per year

Our client operates an eco friendly nursery. The Nursery uses solar energy to generate electricity, and even harvest rainwater into a 8,400l tank which filters and feeds the water back into the building for their toilets and washing machines. The building is a bright, vibrant and a stimulating setting to aid the learning and development of children in it’s care.

The nursery focuses on developing Early Years Education through play, which is supported by a unique in-depth planning program. The nursery offer personal assessment for every child, which is measured termly, ensuring that their needs are recorded and met.

Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Room Leader on a permanent basis.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
