Part – Qualified Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years in practice to join a thriving firm.

Reporting To the Manager, the role is based in Witney (but you may on occasion be required to travel to other offices and client sites as part of your duties)

The scope is to provide support for Managers and Directors in providing professional accountancy services to fee paying clients. The services can include financial reporting, taxation, audit, assurance.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Liaising with clients (individuals and businesses) and providing financial information and advice
Producing year-end accounts
Completing self-assessments and corporate tax returns
Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information for small businesses (accountancy)
Supporting junior colleagues

Qualifications:

Essential

Desirable

ACCA / ACA qualified or QBE.
Demonstrated financial management experience.
Legislative compliance – ability to interpret and relevant legislation to clients.
Minimum of 3 years previous experience of working with clients in a busy accountancy practice.
Sound knowledge of payroll / PAYE and experience in preparing VAT returns for a wide range of clients.
Previous working knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks and / or Xero
· Coaching junior team members.

Microsoft office to at least intermediate level.
