Field Engineer

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

Field Engineer – UK wide – Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance – An excellent role within a well-managed team with excellent leadership. A growing SME!

Excellent basic salary – Company Van – Breakdown and routine maintenance of mechanical handling equipment at all kinds of client manufacturing and warehousing sites.

Loads of opportunity for overtime and we are looking for some based in the Midlands with easy accces to the M1

The Role and Person:

• Breakdown and routine maintenance of mechanical handling equipment at all kinds of client manufacturing and warehousing sites
• UK wide role covering existing customers materials handling equipment
• Flexibility to stay away 2 nights per week depending on client locations and job size – autonimous role for a mature Engineer
• Team working and lone working depending on the job
• Plenty of overtime available at good rates – evenings, weekends, bank holidays
• Reporting remotely to the Field Engineering Manager, occasionally visiting the office for team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Time served engineer with good mechanical skills, experience of working with heavy machinery – with knoweldge of electrical

• You will also need good customer service skills, initiative, common sense, communication and team working skills
• Lots of travel so you will enjoy driving and lots of nights away in hotels UK wide.
• based in or around the Midlands / M1
• Van provided, all travel fully expensed including fuel and hotels.
