Senior Test Analyst with experience carrying out validation, integration, system and performance testing of software, primarily functional, but non-functional on both applications and SQL databases, as well as testing infrastructure builds is required on a permanent basis for a market leading organisation head quartered in Warrington, Cheshire.

The Senior Test Analyst will take a vital role within the applications team and champion the testing of software in a Windows environment. The role will provide support for the planning and execution of test activities, working within the agreed IT processes, in order to ensure robust and high quality solutions to the end-user community

Essential skills:

Strong software testing experience within a commercial environment, specifically in the testing of business applications and SQL databases in MS Windows O/S environment
Experience of Quality Centre or experience of automating testing using test tools.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server including testing data flows through systems and transformation.
Experienced in the testing BI and Data Warehouse development (SSIS, SSRS, ETL)
Excellent communication skills
ISEB qualified (or equivalent)Desirable skills:
