Fabric Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a progressive local business who are the UK’s leading specialist retailer of industrial equipment. They are now seeking to appoint a Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk to join their busy Accounts department.

Description of the role:

• Reporting to the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for liaising with the Sales Ledger customers to manage outstanding accounts and chase in overdue payments.
• Duties will include opening new credit accounts, active payment collection via phone, email and letters, maintaining accurate Sales Ledger transaction records via daily journal and invoice postings.
• You will also be required to deal with customer and store queries as they arise on a daily basis and provide support to the Sales Ledger function.

About you:

• Previous experience working in Credit Control and Sales Ledger is essential
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
