Childbase Partnership

Salary: £26,000 per year

Summary

At Childbase Partnership, we are excited to be recruiting for a Nursery Nurse for our team in Chobham.

We are seeking a very special person to join us at our Pennypot Day Nursery; someone who is passionate about enabling children to become happy, confident learners; someone who thrives in a team environment; someone who effortlessly inspires those around them to achieve incredible things. Do you have the qualities we are looking for? Then come and join us.

We are able to offer this role on either a full time or part time basis. On a full time basis, you will work a variety of shifts between the hours of 7.30am-6.30pm, Monday-Friday. If part time hours suit you best, we are open to discussing different working patterns with you and can currently facilitate 30-40 hours over 3 or 4 days.

Our purpose-built nursery is located on Pennypot Lane, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The nursery benefits from fantastic staff areas as well as well-resourced play spaces for the children. Outdoor play is hugely important at Pennypot, and the children enjoy planting vegetables and tasting their produce, served by the dedicated chef. The team are incredibly proud to have achieved a prestigious Eco-School Green Flag award for their commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment.

When you join our award-winning company, not only will we empower you to have a voice and enable you to shape the future success of our partnership, we will also show you our appreciation for the positive impact you make. We truly believe if we all contribute, we all benefit, and your on-going contribution will be greatly rewarded, with:

  • 22 days of annual leave (pro-rata for part time hours), which increases with length of service
  • team dinners and bonus payment, to celebrate outstanding Ofsted outcomes
  • a company annual awards event, at which individual and team achievements are recognised
  • annual family fun days, for you and your loved ones to enjoy together
  • an employee assistance scheme, bespoke colleague app to support well-being and private medical care*, because your health and welfare is important
  • on-going training, delivered online and face-to-face, which includes twice-yearly team inset days
  • flexible working patterns, to meet both your needs and ours
  • career progression and opportunities for future promotion across our partnership.

In addition, there are many ways we will reward you financially, including*:

  • an hourly Salary: of £26,000if you’re level 2 qualified, and £12 if you are qualified to level 3 or above
  • a £1000 joining bonus, to welcome you to our partnership
  • an annual tax-free dividend payment, a perk of our employee-owned company status
  • a savings club, offering you interest on the money you save
  • retail discounts, reducing the price of gym membership, cinema tickets and more
  • a cycle to work scheme, with payment plans available
  • discount on your Childbase nursery fees, from day one; 50% for your children or 25% for your grandchildren
  • ‘recommend a friend’ bonuses, because your recommendations are important to us
  • a salary advance or hardship loan, if you require financial support in unexpected circumstances
  • a fully paid for DBS check, and regular renewals.

*(t&cs apply to some of our financial rewards)

Safeguarding is important to us at Childbase Partnership, and as part of our obligations to our families and colleagues, we adopt strict safer recruitment practices. Before you join us, we will need to obtain suitable references and an enhanced DBS check.

If you think you might be the very special person who will be able to make a positive difference in this role, and if what we can offer you sparks your interest, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application and one of our recruitment team will be in touch.
