Senior Mechanical Flight Control Systems Designer

Salary: £54 – £55.2 per hour

We’re searching for a Senior Mechanical Flight Control Systems Designer for our client, one of the global leaders in Aviation today with 50 years of experience covering all aspects of the aerospace industry. They are based in the middle east, covering aerostructures, commercial aviation conversions, military aircraft upgrades, flight testing and much more. For this opportunity, the work will be Home Based so candidates can apply from all countries as long as you meet the requirements below. The position involves working from home for a period between 6 to 12 months, with possible extension.

For a new program of large aircraft development, flight control systems (Primary, Secondary, and high lift Device systems) designer is required. Knowledge and experience in Systems definition, development and certification process to FAR/CS 25 is essential.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of technical experience in design, analysis, testing and certify of aerospace vehicles including:

* FCS concept / architecture and general requirements definition

* Experience in simulation and analysis of airframe FCS

* Experience in system logic definition

* Experience in FC systems or components specification documents including tests required and ICD definition and integration.

* Experience in development process of systems or components by FCS suppliers’ subcontractors.

* Experience in aircraft / systems certification process (plan and reports) per FAR/CS regulation

Autonomous, proactive, rigorous.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Must be able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts.

In addition, candidates need to have a University Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on Flight Control Systems (FCS).
