Deputy Manager – Nurse Qualified

My client is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager with a Nursing Qualification for their specialist Care Home based in Faversham.

The home specialises in the care of adults with learning disabilities in addition to providing palliative services.

If you are an experience nurse looking for your next step up the ladder, this is the role for you.

As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the running of the home in the absence of the manager.

You will lead by example, supervise, motivate and support all staff ensuring that the highest standards are achieved in accordance with my client’s philosophy, policies and procedures.

Your duties will include:

* Ensuring the smooth, organised running of the home
* Providing hands on nursing care in accordance with best practice and individual care plans
* Undertaking pre-admission assessments as required
* Keeping accurate records of each resident
* Plan all care through a process of needs and risk assessments and a person centered approach
* Liaising with health workers and other professionals, ensuring optimum care is maintained

My client has stipulated that you must hold a recognised nursing qualification and have 2 years post qualifying experience.

This is a full time, permanent role ad the salary is £31,800.
