Nursery Nurse

Salary: £26,000 – £26,520 per year

Carem Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading nursery provider in Central London, who are seeking a Nursery Nurse to join their team.

As a nursery nurse you will have experience of working with children aged 0-5 years and be fluent in using the early years foundation stage curriculum and framework.

You will assume the responsibility of being a key person for your allocated group of children and will plan, provide and assess developmentally appropriate activities and learning opportunities.

Some of your responsibilities will include: • Delivering rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop • Planning and providing effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school • Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children • Working in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children • Making accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience: • Level 3 Early Years Qualification eg. NNEB / BTEC Nat Dip / CACHE Dip in Childcare / NVQ level 3 / SVQ Level 3 •
