Salary: £540 – £612 per day
Site Reliability Engineer: As part of our exciting growth plans we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer involved in designing for the future. The SRE team are focused on supporting our AWS environments. You’ll have freedom to research and recommend solutions for hosting applications at scale.
For the role of Site Reliability Engineer you will have experience of:
* Implementation of SRE best practices
* implementing environments for web-based microservices.
* supporting MongoDB based web applications.
* architecting, and supporting AWS solutions.
* cloud virtualisation tools such as ECS and/or Docker containers.
* working with automated deployment systems (eg. CloudFormation. CodeBuild).
* design, development and deployment of business software.
Key responsibilities for the Site Reliability Engineer:
* Leading SRE, DevOPs and Security best practices
* Configuration and ongoing management of environments and services on AWS.
* Enhancing tools and processes for monitoring scalable applications on AWS.
* Improving observability
* Maintaining high availability through proactive measures.
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
* Raise, investigate and resolve problems and known errors
