Oxford Reading Swindon or Milton Keynes areas
Our client is a well-established growing, Facilities Management company offering a range of services to businesses across Oxfordshire Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire.
They are looking for an additional Handy Man to join their existing team. This is a mobile role so applicants must have a clean driving license so they can drive the van provided, be physically fit and have a wide range of handy man skills.
You will be involved in a wide range of general repair and construction work which could include:
- Replacement of roof tiles, basic plumbing tasks, replacing locks and door handles, window repairs, changing switches and basic electrical repairs.
- You will also be doing basic garden maintenance and tidying etc.
As the role covers a wide area, applicants could live in either Reading, Swindon, Oxford or Milton Keynes.
You will be provided with company van and fuelcard, phone, opportunity for extra training to gain certificates and qualifications, 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Employee Assistance Programme and a values based work environment.
Ideal Candidates for this role will be:
- Car drivers with clean driving license
- Have experience of general building repairs, basic electrics and basic plumbing.
- Be a problem solver
- Comfortable up a ladder
- Physically fit
- Ability to quote for works
- Computer literate
- Flexible and friendly attitude with good customer service skills
