Regional Manager – Civil Engineering

Salary: £90,000 – £120,000 per year

I am working with a leading Civil Engineering company, who are looking for an experienced regional manager to join their existing team.

The role will cover the operational management of three working locations/depots which are Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff.

I am looking for a candidate who is at a time within their career where they want to join a rapidly expanding company, going from strength to strength and having a long-lasting career.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience within the Civil engineering sector, although we could consider other industries such as plant hire, transport, construction, building and manufacturing.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

• Managing the staff across all three locations, which in total is around 40 people at full capacity, inclusive of Sales managers, depot foremen and operational staff, handling 1-2-1’s, KPI’s and performance
• Six figures Budget management, tracking costings and spends and making changes where necessary that will benefit the company
• The sales cycle, dealing with existing key accounts, but also developing new clients and contacts to increase sales across the regions.
• Keeping on top of SHEQ, H&S and VOSA details across the region ensuring that they are compliant
• Involvement within the renewal of local frameworks with key clients and staff members
• Being able to lead a team regionally on a remote basis.

In return my client is offering a tailored, but excellent overall package around £90,000 – £120,000inclusive of basic salary, bonus, car allowance and additional incentives, this will all be based upon your experience and the skills and knowledge you can bring to the company.

This is a very lucrative role for the right candidate, to help grow a region by millions of pounds, which of course will carry increase in bonus and commissions for yourself.

This role will require travel across the three major sites, so I am looking for someone who lives a commutable distant from one of the locations
