Job Title: Live in Carers and Domiciliary Carers
Location: Kent area (Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Edenbridge, Bromley)

My client is looking for female carer’s; generally our clients prefer female carers (our clients are both female and male)

Live in Carer duties are:

Living in house full time

Work 6-8 weeks on, 1 week off

Daily 2 hour break covered by Domiciliary Carer

Holidays accrued as you work

Salary details: £26,000according to the dependency of the client

Living in the person’s home, you will be available to assist the client with personal care, general support, mobility, medication prompting as well as helping with daily household activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping.

Other key areas of your role is to:

• Spend quality time with the client as a companion
• Keeping them company doing activities such as playing games, communicating etc
• Promoting their independence and overall wellbeing.

It is important to support our clients with what they can’t do and not to take over and action what they are able to do for themselves.

You must be capable of living away from home for a few weeks at a time and dealing with a variety of people and situations.

Experience of caring and support is desirable but not essential.

An excellent command of both written and spoken English is also required.

Domiciliary Carer Duties are:

Salary Details: Monday to Friday 7am-7pm £26,000per year

Evenings after 7pm and also all weekends £26,000 per year

Mileage is 25p per mile from the first client to the last client

Visiting a variety of clients in their own homes for 1-2 hour visits

Performing a variety of light duties Such as:

• Assisting client to get ready for day
• Prompting/ reminding client to take medication
• Cooking light meals
• Light house work duties
As a domiciliary carer it is necessary to own your own car and a have a valid driver’s licence.
