The Company:
An excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative Mens Knitwear Designer to join a successful clothing company who have a solid reputation in the UK and European retail clothing market.

The Role:
Creating and producing commercial on trend Mens knitwear.
Solely responsible for several key accounts, maintain and drive design direction within these accounts.
Delivering products on budget.
Extensive market research and comp shops.
Maintain a constant up to date knowledge with fashion trends including colours and shapes.
Develop the ranges to evolve with the current market.
Working within the Design Team to successfully meet briefs.
Attend fashion and trade shows.
Up hold the company identity and develop the product portfolio.
Communicate and work with the technical and production departments within the business.

Skills Required:
Able to work on own initiative and also with the CEO.
Must be passionate and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to work.
3+ years experience, specifically in knitwear with excellent knowledge of yawns/stitches/gauges.
Must be a confident communicator able to produce and present boards and carry out trend research.
Capable of carrying out customer meetings and have experience of travelling to factories.
