The Group consists of;
* Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
* Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced individual who has experience within the social care sector space, to manage a portfolio of services within Trident Reach with the potential of a growing portfolio across the Midlands.

The role is accountable for providing leadership and operational management of our CQC Registered Services contracts across the West Midlands and will have responsibility for the delivery of all care and support, operational, financial and administrative functions.
The successful person will need to have good values and people skills with experience and understanding of learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, along with working knowledge of CQC regulations for residential care, domiciliary care and support living services.
You will ideally be based at the closest service to you, but there will be flexibility to work from home at times. Weekly attendance to your services will be required.
Key Responsibilities:

* Effective and timely delivery of multi services in pursuit of effective contractual, safety and risk management.
* Driving up quality, achieving all regulatory requirements and where any issues arise, develop, implement and complete appropriate remedial action plans.
* Achieving revenue and margin targets by the retention and growth of existing business, acquiring new business and the effective and efficient running of operations.
* Driving quality and business improvements ensuring Trident Group total competitive position is improved.
* Ensuring that structures, processes, systems and procedures are co-ordinated, effective and efficient meeting business requirements to meet future business demands.
* Ensuring that service operate in accordance with Trident Groups standards, UK Health & Safety legislation and applicable regulations and contractual obligations.
* Working in conjunction with other area managers, head of services, executive leads, directors and support functions (HR, IT, Finance, Quality, and Communications), ensure that all activities undertaken are carried out effectively, ensuring a positive perception of the Trident Group by the general public, people we support, carers, employees and purchasing authorities respectively.
* Implementing business plans and budgets to deliver agreed budgets including effective management of surplus, utilisation, and bad debt.
About you
We are looking for confident, positive, and enthusiastic Area Manager to support adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs in all aspects of daily living. Your focus will be to help your customers lead a happy and fulfilled life, whilst promoting independence.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
* Possess relevant previous working experience to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the relevant specialist requirements, knowledge and application, relevant working experience.
* Significant experience and knowledge of delivering on financial targets, and delivering strategies and growth plans, building and sustaining customer satisfaction.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and exemplify leadership and composure under pressure, while maintaining high morale.
* Change and risk management and the ability to manage teams through growth and change.
* People management and leadership skills with experience of successfully implementing sound people management practices (inclusive of recruitment, employee engagement, development and retention) to establish a high performance and customer focused organisation.
* Result oriented, resilient, customer focused and process driven individual with the ability to build strategic relationships/alliances, build sustainable relationships with diverse customer groups, identify and seize growth opportunities, influence multiple stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
* Data – driven approach to decision making around operational practices.
* Possess and be an active member of effective business networks in the social care industry and regulatory bodies that will impact the business.
* A relevant professional Qualification at Level 5 or Higher in Care or Management e.g. NVQ, QCF Award Certificate or Diploma (also known as BTEC Professional Award, Certificate, Diploma).
