McIver Knight Associates are partnering with a fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing business based near Congleton, Cheshire who are now seeking a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to work on their days shift pattern and focus on driving the operational maintenance and CI programmes on a daily basis and ensure smooth operation of the plant.

This is one of the based shift patterns we’ve seen recently and comes with a huge amount of time off shift combined with a generous annual leave allowance…

You will work 3 x 12 hour day shifts per week – 6am to 6pm – no nights, no weekends. You also get 23 annual leave days to use which works out as 5 weeks holiday, plus your bank holidays!

You should be:

• Time served (apprentice trained) with a formal mechanical qualification
• Multi-skilled with a strong focus toward Mechanical
• Experienced in Maintenance of machinery in a fast moving, continuous process plant

You will be supporting a production facility with reactive repairs, PPMs and continuous improvement project work along with H&S and contractor control.

In Return:

The company can offer a salary of circa £39,600, plus 10% pension (5% from you), 4 x Salary Death in service payment and company discount card – Plus Overtime. Overtime is paid at rates between x1.25 and x2.0 depending on when it is during the week.
