Salary: £38,400 per year

FIRE AND SECURITY ENGINEER – BASIC SALARY UP TO £38,400PER ANNUM

Our client are an established business who have been trading since 1999. They cover Sussex, Kent and Surrey and have built up a fantastic reputation in the area.

They are looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis who is based in the East Sussex area.

Basic Salary of up to £38,400per year (depending on experience).

Laptop, tablet, mobile phone, company vehicle and fuel card provided.

Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hour week).

28 days holiday per annum – including Bank Holidays.

Full-time, Permanent Position.

Role & Responsibilities:

Your role as a Fire and Security Engineer will involve:

• Carrying out installations of Fire Alarms, IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm Systems.

• Servicing, fault-finding & maintaining Fire Alarms, IP CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarm Systems as well as Nurse Call, Fire Extinguishers and Monitored Alarms when required.

• Covering Sussex, Kent & Surrey areas attending to clients across the South.

• Working in environments such as Commercial, High End Residential and Domestic.

• Working on equipment such as: RedCare, DualCom, Risco, SMS, Galaxy, Texecom, Morley, Advanced, Kentec, CTec, HikVision, Paxton & Videx.

• Taking part in a call out rota when required.

The Ideal Person:

• Experienced in a range of disciplines & have been responsible for delivering NSI services.

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).

• Knowledge of a range of security products: training can be provided if necessary on these systems.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Good Fault / Problem solving skills.

• IT and Networking knowledge would be extremely advantageous.

• Flexibility to travel when required & be on-call.
