Junior Front-End Web Developer

Our client are a very successful, growing Digital Agency and are now looking for a further Front End Developer to join their Digital Team. Their clients include B&M and the NHS.

We are seeking an ambitious front end developer, with a true passion for web development to join an existing and growing team of professional developers. You must have a minimum of 12 months experience within a Web Developer role and you will be responsible for developing and improving client websites across incredibly diverse markets. An interesting role within a dynamic environment, it will involve developing new sites from scratch to suit new business and new product launches and include the development of websites for easy access via mobile devices.

Skills & Knowledge

– HTML / CSS / JAVASCRIPT / JQUERY / WORDPRESS
– Good level of hand-coded HTML5 and CSS3
– Clean efficient coding structuring skills
– Knowledge and experience of responsive design techniques
– Experience in customising WordPress
– Understanding of progressive enhancement and the best methods of browser support
– Passion for CSS and JavaScript
– Experience in using Creative Suite
– Strong awareness of current technologies
– Knowledge of mobile compatible websites
