Instrument Calibration and Repair Technician – Engineering – Nuneaton – Permanent c£25k

Our client is a high profile Engineering Consultancy who provides unrivalled engineering innovations and testing solutions for various sectors including whole vehicle and systems technology.

The purpose of the role is to support the business with instrument calibration and repair.

What you will do as the Instrument Calibration and Repair Technician:

– Perform multi-disciplined instrument calibration to approved procedures.
– Maintain proper calibration records.
– Perform assessments of instrument faults during calibration.
– Planning and execution of instrument calibration on client sites.
– Assist engineering staff with the development of calibration methods and reference equipment.
– Good soldering skills including replacing surface mount devices.

What you will need for the Instrument Calibration and Repair Technician role:

– Ideally HND/HNC level or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering.
– A background working in a multi-parameter UKAS accredited Calibration laboratory.
– Knowledge of Fluke MetCal, Opto 22 software and NI Labview would be an advantage.
