Accounts Ledger Clerk

We are currently looking for an experienced and organised accounts ledger clerk to join a fast paced accounts team within a growing group of companies based in Kingston Park on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Key Tasks Include:

• Purchase ledger entry of supplier invoices and payments
• Sales ledger entry of customer invoices and receipts
• Bank reconciliations
• Other routine accounting tasks as required
• Dealing with suppliers
• Credit control
• Setting up payments

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Level 3 AAT qualified or equivalent
• Experience of Sage Line 50
• Meticulous

Desirable

• Credit control experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in the property sector

Hours:

35 hours full time
