Salary: £504 per day
Are you a QA / Tester looking for that next move? If so, our client, a market leading company within their sector seek a QA / Tester to design appropriate manual test suites to ensure adequate and effective test coverage and assurance, suitable to an agile environment, according to the product teams’ definitions of done.
Reporting to the head of engineering and working closely with the product teams and software engineers. You will be an experienced QA/Tester from a product development background. With the ability to translate the product roadmap into high quality software.
Key responsibilities of the QA / Tester
* Advise and collaborate with stakeholders on the QA approach the wider team should take and implement
* Execute manual testing
* Non-functional testing
* Define and set up test data required to support testing
* Maximise the benefits of appropriate test tools and practices to ensure efficient and successful delivery
* Provide input into release readiness reviews
* Manage testing risks and issues that may affect release scope and schedule.
Key Experience expected of the QA / Tester
* Experience with some ticket management system for bugs/features
* Experience writing bugs/feature in some BDD format
* Experience of working in an Agile environment
* Experience of working with SaaS or web-based products
* Solid testing experience and competent in test approaches and techniques including TDD/BDD and around non-functional testing
* Experience of developing test processes and improvements
Nice to have, but not essential
* ISTQB/ISEB certification
* Experience of E2E UI automation
* Experience of working with data centric / analytical products
* Have worked with a ticket management system for managing bugs and features
* Any experience to help maintain and extend automated test scripts
