Company Accountant / Book Keeper

Our client is a privately-owned high technology and manufacturing company, headquartered in the UK.

Its Production to Functional Specification (PtFS) technology enables manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive and consumer electronics sectors to work with composite materials, saving costs, energy and producing significantly lighter weight products.

The Management Accountant will be reporting to the CFO to be responsible for all aspects of performance analysis.

The general responsibilities are:

• Present all relevant analysis to CFO to complete monthly reports
• Report on Departmental Expenditure
• Manage Sales Quotation / Invoice / Billing Process – Revenue Recognition
• Manage Export Documentation Processes

Assist in:

• The completion of the month end process
• The Financial Accounting Control of all balance sheet accounts
• Systems audits and improvements

The successful candidate will have:

• Awareness of Integrated business systems
• In-depth bookkeeping experience
• Microsoft Office – Advanced User
• Communication skills to work effectively with a Part Time CFO

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic accounting professional that is studying towards a relevant accounting qualification such as AAT / ACCA / CIMA if not already qualified.

Experience gained within a manufacturing / project accounting environment is preferred, with the ability to not sure deliver work but think outside of the box.

You will gain full exposure to all accounting areas including payroll, with large involvement with international projects which will offer exposure in export and foreign currency.
