Salary: £27,600 – £31,200 per year

My client is a leading independent fragrance retailer. 

The expanding HR Team needs a Junior HR Advisor at an important time in their growth which includes a Head Office move to state of the art offices and many new store openings.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced company as they grow and you grow your career as you will gain exposure to all elements of HR and support a wide range of value added projects. It’s an exciting time to join the team as they seek to improve the employee journey by implementing big changes and you be integral in providing support to help achieve this vision.

Main Focus of the Role:

Working as part of the HR Team and closely with the Head of HR you will provide support across all areas of the HR function both on transactional matters and value added projects.

Some Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Head of HR on strategic initiatives

Onboarding of new all new starters – especially those at Head Office from offer letter to induction

Benchmarking on roles as required

Establish your credibility as an expert and build relationships across the business

Support the provision of HR advice and guidance – using a variety of styles including instruction, advise and coaching

Attend and support ER cases in the field and the office

Exit interviews

Support with the delivery of training on policies and procedures

Work with the HR Team to contribute to the design and delivery of the Employee Engagement Plan

Your experience will be:

Understanding of absence management, grievances, investigations and disciplinaries

Used to working in a fast paced team

Able to manage multiple cases and projects

A pro-active and positive attitude

Able to make observations about the business – identifying and implementing suitable solutions

Effective communication skills

Educated to degree level and CIPD qualified or working to your CIPD qualification

You will bring to the role:

Good time management

A proactive approach that ensures results

Team working and contribution

Able to treat confidential issues with sensitivity and discretion

Order to keep records and data correctly maintained

Good Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email skills

Experience of social media platform

Good working relationship builder
