Here at Volkswagen Guildford, we are on the hunt for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our busy workshop team. This role is offered on a 42 hour per year contract (Monday to Friday 08:00- 17:00 and 1 in 3 Saturdays); with a £43,200basic salary and generous OTE of up to £6,000.

Being a Workshop Controller with Lookers Volkswagen will include; supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians and pro-actively reviewing the daily workload. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through the implementation of quality checks. You will also maintain relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and provide support to Technicians during repairs. You will ensure high standards are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas.

What we’re looking for…

· Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
· Prior workshop Experience
· The ability to work calmly under pressure
· Well-developed management and leadership skills
· An honest and diligent approach to work
· Excellent Management and leadership skills
· A full and valid UK Driving Licence
