Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per annum + Commission + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card

Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00am – 17:00pm)

My client are an established family run company within the MHE industry and are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their team. Looking for someone who has ideally worked in a sales role within the materials handling industry before, and is able to demonstrate a consistency within the industry as this will be a role working on your own to retain customers and generate new business. You will need a strong understanding of the industry itself, understanding of the products and services my client offer, is articulate and can communicate well with customers and is able to present a strong work ethic can gain great results.

Responsibilities

• Management of existing client base across the Northamptonshire area
• Retaining business and maintaining rapport and trust with current customers
• Business development across the region
• Taken full responsibility for the revenue stream and overall growth
• New business generation by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes
• Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sales of material handling and related equipment
