Salary: £26,000 – £31,200 per year

French Speaking Nursery Nurse Opportiunity

Shiraka Ltd are currently recruiting for a French speaking Nursery Nurse with Level 3 Qualification. This is for a full time permanent role as at a top rated Bilingual Nursery. This setting cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and are open all year round.

The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and must be fluent in French.

This nursery would be a great opportunity to further develop your career and move in to a more senior role within a Bilingual setting. The setting has the capacity for about 50 children, so there is always opportunities to move into different roles, when the one becomes available. This role is for full time and all year round, working 40 hours a week. The opining times are 0730-1830 and the settings is closed at Christmas and Bank Holidays.

French speaking Nursery Nurse Duties include but not limited to:

* viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all the staff in your room

* Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly

* Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times

* Ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff

* Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room

French speaking Nursery Nurse Requirements:

* Fluent in French

* Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare education

* Experience of providing play and learning opportunities for children.

* Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient

* The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching

* Acting as Key-worker and to observe

* A working knowledge of the Children’s Act.

* Experience working with toddlers or pre school

* Good communication skills both with children and parents

* Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative

* Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS is a must
