SC Education Recruitment is looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant with BSL.

This is a full time and long term role to start ASAP.

The successful candidate must have:

• British Sign Language (BSL) qualification (Level 3) – Essential
• A minimum of 1 year experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities including DYX, ASD, SEMH, DS, MLD, and ADHD
• Excellent communication skills
• A non-judgmental approach and the ability to stay calm when faced with challenging behaviours
• A genuine passion to work with young people
• A Team Teach qualification would be desirable but not essential
